Default Something New to try Black Fever Build

Black Fever

Assassin / Mesmer

Dagger 12
Illusion 6
Shadow Arts 10
Critical Strikes 6

[skill]Fevered Dreams[/skill] [skill]Black Mantis Thrust[/skill] [skill]Black Spider Strike[/skill] [skill]Black Lotus Strike[/skill] [skill]Twisting Fangs[/skill] [skill]Shadow Refuge[/skill]

I would use zealous daggers with (crippling mod or poison)

Last two optional secondary cheap hex just incase 1st one is stripped or Death's Charge and Rez signet

Black Mantis can be replaced with [skill]Jagged Strike[/skill] to conserve energy

Goal- hex and apply as many conditions as you can to your target.

Should work good in PVE and pretty good in PVP if you are not called (This should keep the heat on Monks)

Problem areas - Hex removal is a killer to this build

I posted a similar build in Mesmer forum but Assassins should have a go at it as well

Edit-duplicated same type of skill changed per suggestion below

Why Twisting Fangs AND Impale? Remove Impale and replace it with Black Lotus Strike for better energy management.

Beat to the punch.

I've got a problem with the recharge time on your skills; it doesn't seem like you'll be able to actually run your combo very often, and we all know that auto-attacking isn't where the sins get their damage.

I like the concept, but I'm not sure where you'd use it.

It would work very nicely in AB as either side tends to mob up around the res shrines. It would also work against some missions like Gyala Hatchery or things that have a lot of mobs in them, like Unwaking Waters as well and other missions.

I think there used to be a similiar build (or concept at least) posted on wiki before they took down their Build page...I know one of my guild mates was running something similar, or at least had the Fevered Dreams as his elite

Good Build.
Id trade mantis for crippling dagger and use jungle strike also.
Not as many conditions but more dmg.
